In sun-kissed hues, a radiant sight, Tan skin gleams with golden light. Warmth infused in every cell, A symphony of shades that compel. While pale is praised for its ethereal gleam, Tan skin, too, holds a radiant esteem. Its golden hues, a testament to light, A tapestry that dances in daylight. Bronzed canvas, a masterpiece rare, A testament to sun's affair. Like amber kissed by nature's fire, A palette of warmth, a sunlit desire. Where moonlight bathes in silver's pure embrace, The sun's warm touch adorns tan skin's embrace. No less enchanting, with a golden sheen, It paints a portrait, vibrant and serene. In the morning's first light, as dawn's fingers gently trace, Across the horizon, the sun reveals its grace. And so, too, does tan skin, bathed in golden hue, A masterpiece painted in shades of amber and true. Like honeyed caramel, smooth and sweet to taste, Tan skin exudes a richness, a flavor interlaced. A blend of earth and sunshine, a fusion of delight, A testament to the
Springtime. The most beautiful time of year, Especially in the country of Japan. The season is marked By the mass blooming of cherry blossoms, Also known as sakura. They bloom in the first promise of spring And shoot from the trees In a froth of sugar-pink petals. The cherry blossom trees Glow in the morning sun Like the divine Japanese spirits. The spring breeze brings forth These beautiful blossoms, For they cannot be seen on cherry trees Any other time of the year. Even the old, mature trees Put on such a wonderful show When the blossoms carry off in the breeze From their gnarled branches. The world should focus less on finding new wars to fight And focus more on looking for cherry blossoms to watch For elegance conquers violence More than anything else. The sakura blossoms remain beautiful And will stay beautiful for a while Until they fade and die.

It was a typical summer Sunday at Fish Haven Aquarium. Families, couples, and children crowded the halls marveling at the aquatic creatures of all shapes and sizes on display. Everyone was enjoying their time admiring all the beautiful sea life…That is, except for Big Bertha, the giant Pacific octopus, who resided in one of the bigger tanks sitting several feet above the aquarium floor. She preferred to spend most of her time asleep in her tank, keeping to herself and never bothering anyone. The only time she was ever active was lunchtime, when the workers came and fed her a bucket full of shrimp, crabs, scallops, clams, and lobsters. The patrons always enjoyed watching Bertha greedily gobble her meal up before going back to sleep. To them, it was a moment of entertainment. Bertha knew she could keep the humans happy if they made her stomach happy. However, on this particular day, Bertha was not very happy at all. Every time patrons passed by her tank, some annoying kids would show up

The Street Artist's Sailboat
There once was a well-known street artist Who was as clever as could be. He could make his art very lifelike Which was quite a sight to see. He liked tricking people with his art For it was all too easy. One day, while walking down the street With his art supplies in hand, He couldn't help but notice that The roads just looked too bland. If only it had a bit more pizzazz Wouldn’t that be grand? After staring at the street for a while, An idea came to his head. If there wasn’t anyone who could brighten the road, He would do it himself instead. Looking at his chalks, he thought "Why not?" He might as well go ahead. He stepped right onto the empty road Making sure no cars were coming by, It was time to set his plan into action, He might as well give it a try. He knew this project would be the best, Though he wouldn’t tell others why. With his chalk, he began to draw For an hour, or maybe two He added some black, a bit of white, And just a few touches of blue. How clever he was, for
When someone says you're a "smart cookie",
They mean you are clever because you make good decisions.
It's a charming idiom to describe individuals
Who all have their own unique visions.
"Smart cookies" all have good ideas
And try their best to do the right thing.
You can trust them and the ideas they have,
For smart cookies can do anything.
Smart cookies make every day a sweet day
With all the clever things that they do.
Just follow my simple advice,
And you can be a smart cookie too.
You never have to crumble
When you have to take a tricky test,
Just give it all you've got
And do your very best.
Spend your time wisely and mak
Do you like to travel
And explore places far away from home?
Do you always carry a passport
Wherever you go?
Do you wish to see the world?
Is your passport begging to be stamped?
If it is, then go out and see the world
Until you run out of pages in your passport.
Go to places where you've never been.
Follow the map to its edges
And keep going.
Let your curiosity be your guide.
Sleep with unfamiliar stars
And let the journey unfold before you.
Stamps on your passport could make you richer
Than the dollars in your bank account.
Create your own world as you want it to be.
Travel far enough to learn who you really are.

Good Friends Are Forever
Some people can make
A huge impact on your life.
And that impact can be
A very beautiful one indeed.
You can barely remember
What your life was like
Before these people arrived.
These people become your friends.
A friend is someone who knows all about you
And will always love you no matter what you look like
Or what you do.
Good friends care for each other.
Close friends understand each other.
True friends stay forever,
Beyond words, distance, and time.
Good friends are like the stars you see
In the sky when night arrives.
You don't always get to see them,
But you know they're always there.
A good friend knows all your best
Have you ever wondered how it feels like
To have an endless amount of creativity?
Creativity comes from your mind
And it takes intelligence and imagination.
It forms something new
And somehow very valuable.
Creativity not only belongs
To artists and scientific visionaries.
Creativity belongs to everyone,
And we use creativity
To come up with new ideas
That nobody else has came up with before.
The more we create,
The more we stay true to ourselves and our visions.
Being creative means having fun
With your intelligence.
It's okay to make mistakes,
Because with creativity,
You can learn from those mistakes
Or choose which ones
